Average temperatures in North India vary drastically. Considering humidity, temperatures feel hot for about half of the year and otherwise nice with a very low chance of precipitation throughout the year. North India has some very humid months, and dry months in the opposite season. The least humid month is May (20.9% relative humidity), and the most humid month is August (76.6%).
Wind in North India is usually calm. The windiest month is June, followed by May and July. June’s average wind speed of around 6.6 knots (7.5 MPH or 12.1 KPH) is considered “a light breeze.” Maximum sustained winds (the highest speed for the day lasting more than a few moments) are at their highest in late May to early June where average top sustained speeds reach 12 knots, which is considered a moderate breeze.

Spring (March through May)
Humidity and temperatures combine to make this season feel very warm. Highs range from 110.3°F (43.5°C) and 82.5°F (28.1°C) with warmer temperatures in the later months. Rain is extremely rare with 0 to 1 days of significant precipitation per month. Spring is the slowest for tourism, which makes it a good time for those looking for deals.
Summer (June through August)
The middle-year months have hot weather with high temperatures that are quite warm. These months see the most precipitation with 3 to 7 days of precipitation per month. June – August is fairly slow season for tourism in North India, so lodging and other accommodations may cost slightly less.
Fall (September through November)
Fall daily highs range from 95.4°F (35.2°C) and 80°F (26.7°C), which will feel very nice given the humidity and wind. It rains or snows a normal amount: 1 to 4 days per month. Tourism is the second busiest during these months due to the weather, so hotels may be slightly higher priced.
Winter (December through February)
Weather is somewhat cool this time of year in North India to be enjoyable for warm weather travelers. The average high during this season is between 82.5°F (28.1°C) and 65.3°F (18.5°C). On average, it rains or snows a smalll amount: 0 to 2 times per month. These times of year are the busiest with tourists.
