Average temperatures in Vancouver vary somewhat and are seasonally temperate. The area is in the top 68 percent of tourist destinations for pleasant weather. Humidity and temperatures combine to make this season feel moderately cold. Highs range from 74.5°F (23.6°C) and 53.2°F (11.8°C) with warmer temperatures in the later months. Rain is frequent with 14 to 21 days of precipitation per month. Spring is busy for tourism, which makes it a good time for those looking for things to do.
Summer (June through August)
The middle-year months have very comfortable weather with high temperatures that are comfortable. These months see moderate precipitation with 4 to 10 days of precipitation per month. June – August is the busiest season for tourism in Vancouver, so lodging and other accommodations may cost more than usual.
Fall (September through November)
Fall daily highs range from 82.4°F (28°C) and 50.5°F (10.3°C), which will feel comfortable given the humidity and wind. It rains or snows a very great amount: 9 to 21 days per month. Tourism is the slowest during these months due to the weather, so hotels may be lower priced.
Winter (December through February)
Weather is too cold this time of year in Vancouver to be enjoyable for warm weather travelers. The average high during this season is between 54.8°F (12.7°C) and 45.1°F (7.3°C). On average, it rains or snows a great amount: 18 to 22 times per month. These times of year are fairly slow with tourists.
