Average temperatures in Oman vary greatly. Considering humidity, temperatures feel hot for about half of the year and otherwise nice with a very low chance of rain throughout the year. Oman has some comfortably humid months, and slightly dry months in the opposite season. The least humid month is May (30.6% relative humidity), and the most humid month is August (46.9%).

Wind in Oman is usually calm. The windiest month is July, followed by August and June. July’s average wind speed of around 8.6 knots (9.9 MPH or 15.9 KPH) is considered “a gentle breeze.” Maximum sustained winds (the highest speed for the day lasting more than a few moments) are at their highest in late June where average top sustained speeds reach 14.4 knots, which is considered a moderate breeze.
