Average temperatures in Northeast Florida vary greatly. Considering humidity, temperatures feel nice most of the year, excluding some hot weeks in the summer, with a fair chance of precipitation about half of the year. Wind in Northeast Florida is usually calm. The windiest month is March, followed by April and February. March’s average wind speed of around 5.4 knots (6.3 MPH or 10.1 KPH) is considered “a light breeze.” Maximum sustained winds (the highest speed for the day lasting more than a few moments) are at their highest in early to mid June where average top sustained speeds reach 13.9 knots, which is considered a moderate breeze.

Rain is somewhat common with roughly 5 days of significant precipitation per month. Spring is fairly slow for tourism, which makes it a good time for those looking for deals.
Summer (June through August)
The middle-year months have very comfortable weather with high temperatures that are quite warm. These months see the most precipitation with 10 to 12 days of precipitation per month. June – August is the busiest season for tourism in Northeast Florida, so lodging and other accommodations may cost more than usual.
Fall (September through November)
Fall daily highs range from 91°F (32.8°C) and 74.5°F (23.6°C), which will feel very nice given the humidity and wind. It rains or snows a significant amount: 3 to 8 days per month. Tourism is the second busiest during these months due to the weather, so hotels may be slightly higher priced.
Winter (December through February)
Weather is somewhat cool this time of year in Northeast Florida to be enjoyable for warm weather travelers. The average high during this season is between 76.5°F (24.7°C) and 68.4°F (20.2°C). On average, it rains or snows a fair amount: 4 to 5 times per month. These times of year are the slowest with tourists.
