Average temperatures in Jakarta vary barely at all. Considering humidity, temperatures feel hot all year with a fair chance of precipitation about half of the year. Jakarta has some very humid months, and above average humidity throughout the year. The least humid month is September (61.6% relative humidity), and the most humid month is February (76%).
Wind in Jakarta is usually extremely calm. The windiest month is January, followed by December and March. January’s average wind speed of around 3.8 knots (4.3 MPH or 7 KPH) is considered “light air.” Maximum sustained winds (the highest speed for the day lasting more than a few moments) are at their highest in early to mid January where average top sustained speeds reach 9.3 knots, which is considered a gentle breeze.

Fall (March through May)
Humidity and temperatures combine to make this season feel warm. Highs range from 91.7°F (33.2°C) and 88.1°F (31.2°C) with similar temperatures in the later months. Rain is somewhat common with 4 to 9 days of significant precipitation per month. Fall is the slowest for tourism, which makes it a good time for those looking for deals.
Winter (June through August)
The middle-year months have very comfortable weather with high temperatures that are quite warm. These months see the least precipitation with 2 to 4 days of precipitation per month. June – August is fairly slow season for tourism in Jakarta, so lodging and other accommodations may cost slightly less.
Spring (September through November)
Spring daily highs range from 93.3°F (34.1°C) and 90.4°F (32.4°C), which will feel very nice given the humidity and wind. It rains or snows a normal amount: 2 to 6 days per month. Tourism is the second busiest during these months due to the weather, so hotels may be slightly higher priced.
Summer (December through February)
Weather is perfect this time of year in Jakarta to be enjoyable for warm weather travelers. The average high during this season is between 89.7°F (32.1°C) and 86.2°F (30.1°C). On average, it rains or snows a great amount: 9 to 13 times per month. These times of year are the busiest with tourists.
