    Average temperatures in Chihuahua vary somewhat and are seasonally temperate. The area is in the top 76 percent of tourist destinations for pleasant weather.     Precipitation (Rain or Snow)

    If dry weather is what you’re after, the months with the lowest chance of precipitation in Chihuahua are July, August, and then September.     Chihuahua has far below average humidity compared to most tourist destinations. The least humid month is April (14.1% relative humidity), and the most humid month is September (49.5%).

    Wind in Chihuahua is usually moderate. The windiest month is April, followed by May and February. April’s average wind speed of around 5.3 knots (6.1 MPH or 9.8 KPH) is considered “light breeze.” Maximum sustained winds (the highest speed for the day lasting more than a few moments) are at their highest in early-to-mid-April where average top sustained speeds reach 12.1 knots, which is considered a moderate breeze.

    Spring (March through May)

    Humidity and temperatures combine to make this season feel warm. Highs range from 95.9°F (35.5°C) and 75.4°F (24.1°C) with warmer temperatures in the later months. Rain is rare with 1 to 2 days of precipitation per month. Spring is slow/unreported for tourism, which makes it a good time for those looking for deals.

    Summer (June through August)

    The middle-year months have very comfortable weather with high temperatures that are quite warm. These months see moderate precipitation with 4 to 10 days of precipitation per month. June – August is slow/unreported season for tourism in Chihuahua, so lodging and other accommodations may cost as much as usual.

    Fall (September through November)

    Fall daily highs range from 88°F (31.1°C) and 68.8°F (20.4°C), which will feel very nice given the humidity and wind. It rains or snows a fair amount: 2 to 9 days per month. Tourism is slow/unreported during these months due to the weather, so hotels may be normally priced.

    Winter (December through February)

    Weather is too cold this time of year in Chihuahua to be enjoyable for warm weather travelers. The average high during this season is between 77.4°F (25.2°C) and 63.9°F (17.7°C).
