    Average temperatures in Florida vary very little and are seasonally temperate. The area is in the top 82 percent of tourist destinations for pleasant weather. Weeks with ideal weather are listed above. If you’re looking for the very warmest time to visit Florida, the hottest months are August, July, and then September.     Humidity and Wind

    Florida has slightly high to average humidity compared to most tourist destinations. The least humid month is March (61.3% relative humidity), and the most humid month is October (70.9%).

    Wind in Florida is usually moderate. The windiest month is March, followed by April and November. March’s average wind speed of around 9.8 knots (11.3 MPH or 18.1 KPH) is considered “gentle breeze.” Maximum sustained winds (the highest speed for the day lasting more than a few moments) are at their highest in late March where average top sustained speeds reach 15.9 knots, which is considered a moderate breeze.

    Spring (March through May)

    Humidity and temperatures combine to make this season feel warm. Highs range from 85.5°F (29.7°C) and 80.1°F (26.7°C) with warmer temperatures in the later months. Spring is slow/unreported for tourism, which makes it a good time for those looking for deals.

    Summer (June through August)

    The middle-year months have hot weather with high temperatures that are quite warm. June – August is slow/unreported season for tourism in Florida, so lodging and other accommodations may cost as much as usual.

    Fall (September through November)

    Fall daily highs range from 88.8°F (31.6°C) and 80.9°F (27.2°C), which will feel very nice given the humidity and wind. Tourism is slow/unreported during these months due to the weather, so hotels may be normally priced.

    Winter (December through February)

    Weather is perfect this time of year in Florida to be enjoyable for warm weather travelers. The average high during this season is between 81.3°F (27.4°C) and 79.2°F (26.2°C). These times of year are slow/unreported with tourists.
